The world's largest solar power plant was launched in China
The system, covering an area of 13.3 thousand hectares (x10000 m2), was erected in the Taklamakan desert. It consists of more than 5.26 million monocrystalline bifacial solar panels.
The solar farm will generate more than 6 billion kWh per year (enough to supply two million electric vehicles annually or cities like Los Angeles for just less than 365 days).
