China's first medium-sized airliner, COMAC C919, Friday carried out its first successful long-distance test flight between the cities of Shanghai and Xian.
The aircraft took off at 11.38 am from Pudong International Airport in the eastern city of Shanghai and landed around 2.30 pm at the Yanling test base in Xian in central China, reported official news agency Xinhua.
