France's Total to Discuss Development of South Pars Phase 11

Senior officials from France's Total are slated to meet experts and industrialists from major Iranian companies in the coming days in Tehran, an energy official said.

"A meeting between representatives of Total Company and the Iranian manufacturers of oil industry parts and equipment will be held coming Wednesday," Head of Society of Iranian Petroleum Industries Equipment Manufacturers Reza Khayyamian told reporters on Saturday.

He said that the meeting will be arranged to discuss ways of cooperation in the 11th phase of South Pars Gas Field.

The €42-million deal for developing phase 11 of the supergiant South Pars Gas Field was signed in July between the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) and a consortium of Total and China's CNPC.
