The death toll in a building collapse in Mumbai on Tuesday rose to 12 as authorities continued their rescue efforts for dozens of residents thought to be trapped under the debris, according a fire department official.
So far, 12 bodies had been recovered from the rubble, including those of six women, while 14 people had been hospitalized, Chief Fire Officer of the Mumbai Fire Brigade, P.S. Rahangdale, told EFE.
