Climate change will impact marine food chain

Climate change will cause the marine food web to become less efficient due to a decrease in the ability of animals to utilize their resources efficiently, according to a study published on Thursday by the University of Adelaide in Australia.

Researchers found that the increase in CO2 expected by the end of the century, which causes ocean acidification, will favor production at different levels of the food web.
