Meteorologists: for the first time in 47 years, June was hotter than July in Israel

Israel meteorological service summed up the past month and reported that for the first time since 1969, the first month of summer was hotter than July.

The meteorologists say that in the daytime the temperature in July was above average temperatures, which were registered in the same months in the period from 1995 to 2009, by approximately 0.5 degrees Celsius.

At night on the coast of the Mediterranean sea the temperature was above the average temperature of 1-5 degrees, and in the center of the country by 0.5-1 degree.

Note that in the past month, the weather service reported that June was the hottest in the entire history of weather observations in Israel.
