Kiev expects its western partners to offer gas price below $200 per 1,000 cubic meters, Ukraine’s Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said on Tuesday.
"We expect the price from western partners below $200," he said, adding that "the pricing environment will further decline."
Ukraine’s Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko said earlier that the government expects average gas price for Ukraine to stand at $225 per 1,000 cubic meters in 2016.
The discounted price of Russian gas for Ukraine equals to around $230 per 1,000 cubic meters in the fourth quarter of 2015.
