All settlement in Crimea connected to electricity supplies

All settlements in Crimea have electricity supplies, press service of the emergencies ministry told TASS on Sunday.

"As of November 29, there is not a single settlement in Crimea cut off electricity fully," the press service said.

Autonomous sources of electricity feed all stations of cell communication, the ministry said.

Presently, the emergencies ministry’s 20 convoys are on their way to Crimea carrying about 250 electricity generators from different regions of Russia, the press service said.

"We have organised the 24/7 control over work of electricity sources at potentially hazardous facilities, including at 139 filling stations."

Specialists of the emergencies ministry and local deputies are meeting with people to explain to them fire security measures as the locals are using electricity appliances and open fire to heat and light houses.

The ministry has organised special facilities throughout Crimea, where local people may charge cell phones and other appliances, or spend the night if the weather gets cold.
