China has released its latest photos of the lunar landscape, taken by its Chang'e-3 lunar probe.
One of the pictures shows the first official photo of the earth taken
by the lander’s landform camera. The moonscape around the Yutu rover
was captured by the panoramic camera. Other images show the moon’s
surface, the rover, and the earth’s plasmasphere.
The pictures were taken between December 14th and 26th, during the mission’s first lunar day cycle.
