Ισχυρός σεισμός 7.7 R στο Ιράν....ΣΤΗ ΜΕΘΟΡΙΟ ΜΕ ΤΟ ΠΑΚΙΣΤΑΝ
Το επίκεντρο του σεισμού εντοπίζεται 86 χιλιόμετρα ανατολικά νοτιοανατολικά της πόλης Κχας του Ιράν, ενώ το εστιακό του βάθος υπολογίζεται στα 15,2 χιλιόμετρα.
Μέχρι στιγμής δεν έχουν αναφερθεί ζημιές ή θύματα.
Σεισμικές δονήσεις έγιναν αισθητές στην περιοχή του Κόλπου και στο Νέο Δελχί.
Φόβοι εκφράζονται και για τις πυρηνικές
εγκαταστάσεις οι οποίες βρίσκονται στο κεντρικό Ιράν και στα δυτικά της
χώρας, συμπεριλαμβανομένου του πυρηνικού σταθμού Μπουσέρ στον Κόλπο.
Ωστόσο, η ρωσική εταιρία η οποία έχει κατασκευάσει το πυρηνικό
εργοστάσιο στο Μπουσέρ ανέφερε ότι ο ηλεκτροπαραγωγικός σταθμός είναι
«ασφαλής».

ReplyDeleteΣεισμός - τέρας ταρακούνησε στις 13:44 (ώρα Ελλάδος) το Ιράν στα σύνορα με το Πακιστάν.
Σύμφωνα με όσα μεταδίδει το πρακτορείο Reuters, επικαλούμενο το αμερικανικό γεωφυσικό ινστιτούτο USGS, η σεισμική δόνηση ήταν μεγέθους 8 Ρίχτερ με εστιακό βάθος 73 χιλιομέτρων.
Ωστόσο, η σεισμολογική υπηρεσία του Ιράν υποστηρίζει πως ο Εγκέλαδος ήταν μεγέθους 7,5 της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ και με εστιακό βάθος 18 χιλιόμετρα.
Ο σεισμός ταρακούνησε ολόκληρη τη Μέση Ανατολή και έγινε αισθητός στην περιοχή του Περσικού Κόλπου. Σύμφωνα με το ειδησεογραφικό πρακτορείο Reuters υπάρχουν μαρτυρίες ότι τα ψηλά κτίρια στο Νέο Δελχί της Ινδίας ταλαντεύτηκαν και οι άνθρωποι άρχισαν να τρέχουν έντρομοι στους δρόμους.
Να σημειώσουμε πως μόλις πριν από μία εβδομάδα, στις 9 Απριλίου, είχε προηγηθεί σεισμική δόνηση 6,1 Ρίχτερ στην πόλη Κάκι του νοτίου Ιράν. Τριανταεννέα άνθρωποι έχασαν τη ζωή τους και 850 τραυματίστηκαν από τον ισχυρό σεισμό 6,1 βαθμών της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ, ο οποίος έπληξε το νότιο Ιράν πριν από μία εβδομάδα.
Ο πιο καταστροφικός σεισμός που έχει πλήξει ποτέ το Ιράν σημειώθηκε τον Ιούνιο του 1990 και είχε μέγεθος 7,7 βαθμούς της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ. Περίπου 37.000 άνθρωποι είχαν χάσει τη ζωή τους και περισσότεροι από 100.000 άνθρωποι είχαν τραυματιστεί σε ένα σεισμό που ισοπέδωσε 27 πόλεις και περίπου 1870 χωριά.

Жертвами землетрясения на юго-востоке Ирана могу стать сотни человек. Об этом сообщили сегодня власти страны, передает телеканал "Аль-Арабия". Согласно первым данным, в результате подземных толчков магнитудой 7,8 погибли 40 человек, сообщило информационное агентство Фарс.
Эпицентр стихии находился на глубине 17 км в районе границы с Пакистаном в провинциях Систан и Белуджистан. Подземные толчки ощутили также жители Саудовской Аравии, Катара, Кувейта, Бахрейна, ОАЭ и Индии.
9 апреля в результате землетрясения в Иране погибли более 30 человек, более 900 пострадали. Полностью или частично были разрушены более 700 домов. Несколько подземных толчков магнитудой от 4,8 до 6,1 были зафиксированы в провинции Бушер. Их эпицентр залегал на глубине 12 км и находился вблизи городка Каки в 89 км к юго- западу от единственной в стране атомной электростанция "Бушер". Она не пострадала и продолжила работу в штатном режиме.

ReplyDeleteUn terremoto de magnitud 7,8 ha sacudido este martes el sureste de Irán y se ha sentido en países vecinos como Pakistán o India, ha informado el Servicio Geológico de Estados Unidos (USGS por sus siglas en inglés).
Una fuente oficial iraní ha indicado a Reuters que el seismo puede haber provocado centenares de muertos. "Ha sido el mayor seismo en Irán en 40 años y se esperan centenares de muertos", ha declarado.
La televisión oficial ha anunciado que han muerto al menos 40 personas, aunque esta cifra aún no han sido confirmada por las autoridades. Según la agencia iraní Fars, la ciudad de Saravan (60.000 habitantes), cerca del epicentro del terremoto, no ha sufrido daños mayores.
El terremoto tuvo lugar a las 11h44 (hora española) en una zona montañosa y desértica cerca de la frontera de este país con Pakistán y Afganistán, a 83 kilómetros de la ciudad de persa de Khash, según el USGS.
Algunos edificios altos temblaron en la capital de India, Nueva Delhi, creando escenas de pánico en las calles, según testigos citados por Reuters. Inmuebles de Qatar y Dubái también han tenido que ser evacuados.
La compañía rusa que construyó la única central nuclear iraní de Bushehr, al oeste del país persa, ha señalado que la planta no ha sufrido ningún daño.
El pasado 9 de abril Irán registró otro movimiento telúrico de 6,1 grados en la escala Richter que sacudió la provincia de Buhehr, en el sur del país, que produjo unos 37 muertos y cerca de mil heridos.

Un séisme de magnitude 7,8 secoue l'Iran....
ReplyDeleteUn violent tremblement de terre s'est produit, mardi 16 avril, dans la région reculée du Sistan-Balouchistan en Iran près de la frontière avec le Pakistan, indique l'Institut d'études géologiques des Etats-Unis (USGS). Le Centre de sismologie iranien indique une magnitude de 7,5, l'USGS une magnitude de 7,8.
L'épicentre du séisme est situé à 80 km au nord de la ville de Saravan, près de la frontière avec le Pakistan, et s'est produit à une profondeur de 15,2 kilomètres, précise l'USGS. Les secousses ont commencé vers 12 h 44 (heure de Paris) et ont été ressenties à travers tout le Golfe. Les tours abritant les compagnies dans le centre financier de Dubaï et Media City, ainsi que les immeubles d'habitation du front de mer, ont été évacués. Cinq équipes de secours ont été envoyées des villes de Saravan et Khash pour évaluer les dégâts, selon le chef du Croissant-Rouge iranien, Mahmoud Mozafar, cité par l'agence ISNA. Un premier bilan donné par les autorités fait état d'une quarantaine de morts.
Située sur plusieurs failles sismiques importantes, la République islamique d'Iran a connu de nombreux tremblements de terre dévastateurs. Le 9 avril, un tremblement de terre d'une magnitude de 6,1 avait fait 37 morts et 850 blessés dans le sud du pays, non loin de la centrale nucléaire de Bouchehr. Le plus meurtrier ces dernières années a tué, en décembre 2003, 31 000 personnes à Bam, soit un quart de la population de la ville. A major earthquake has struck south-east Iran, with tremors felt across Pakistan, India and the Middle East.....
ReplyDeleteThe US Geological Survey said the epicentre of the 7.3-magnitude quake was 86km (53 miles) from the city of Khash, near the border with Pakistan.
Offices were evacuated in Abu Dhabi and tall buildings swayed in the Indian capital Delhi, witnesses said.
Iranian state TV has reported at least 40 people killed although one official says he fears hundreds have died.
This is the largest earthquake in Iran in the last 40 years, says the BBC's Mohsen Asgari in Tehran.
All communications have been cut and assessment teams are being sent to the stricken area, he says.
The earthquake struck in the province of Sistan Baluchistan at around 3:14 pm (1044 GMT), close to the cities of Khash, with a population of nearly 180,000, and Saravan with 250,000.
Iran's Fars news agency was reporting that no serious damage had been reported in Saravan.
Mohammad Wazir, a correspondent for BBC Persian in Pakistan, says the quake was felt in the cities of Karachi and Quetta.
It comes days after a 6.3-magnitude quake struck south-west Iran, near its nuclear power station.
At least 37 people were killed and 850 wounded in the earthquake that struck near Bushehr on 10 April.

Iranischen Angaben zufolge erreichte das Beben eine Stärke von 7,5, das Geoforschungszentrum in Potsdam nannte eine Stärke von 7,6.
Die Behörden vor Ort teilten nach Angaben der Agentur Reuters mit, sie rechneten mit Hunderten Toten. Es sei mit einer Opferzahl in dieser Größenordnung zu rechnen, sagten Vertreter der iranischen Behörden demnach.
Sogar in Neu-Delhi zu spüren
Die Erschütterungen waren in der ganzen Region zu spüren. Augenzeugen zufolge wackelten sogar Gebäude in der indischen Hauptstadt Neu-Delhi, die mehr als 1500 Kilometer entfernt liegt. Dort liefen die Menschen auf die Straße.
Auf der pakistanischen Seite der Grenze wurden zunächst keine Schäden gemeldet. Die Region dort ist die am dünnsten besiedelte Pakistans.
Immer wieder schwere Beben
Erst vor wenigen Tagen waren bei einem Erdbeben im Süden des Landes zahlreiche Menschen ums Leben gekommen.
Im Iran gibt es häufig Erdbeben, weil dort mehrere tektonische Platten aufeinander treffen. Im August vergangenen Jahres starben im Nordwesten des Landes 306 Menschen bei zwei Beben. Im Dezember 2003 hatte ein Beben in der südlichen Stadt Bam 31.000 Menschen getötet - ein Viertel der dortigen Bevölkerung.

Un terremoto di magnitudo 7,8 sulla scala Richter ha colpito l'Iran. L'epicentro è stato individuato a 86 chilometri dalla città iraniana di Khash, nel Belucistan, a una profondità di circa quindici chilometri.
La zona sud-orientale del Paese è tra le più povere. La maggior parte della casa è costruita - scrive l'agenzia Fars - "con mattoni di fango".
Gli effetti si sono avvertiti in tutto il Golfo Persico, dal Qatar all' India, dal Pakistan all'Afghanistan. A New Delhi gli edifici più alti hanno tremato per effetto della scossa. A Dubhai dei grattacieli sono stati evacuati.
Ufficiali governativi - sentiti dalla Reuters - hanno espresso il timore che i morti saranno a centinaia, in quello che è il peggiore sisma avvenuto negli ultimi quarant'anni nel Paese. Diverse fonti, compreso il Times of India, hanno sottolineato che al momento le vittime confermate sono almeno quaranta.

Sei giorni fa un altro terremoto, di magnitudo 6.3, aveva provocato una quarantina di morti e centinaia di feriti nel sud del Paese, non lontano dalla centrale nucleare di Bushehr, che però non avrebbe risentito dell'evento naturale.
Il sisma di oggi non dovrebbe causare rischi alle strutture atomiche iraniane. Secondo Reuters gli impianti segnalati si trovano nella zona centrale e occidentale del Paese.

По-късно американският институт преразгледа оценката си за магнитуда и съобщи, че той е бил 7,8. Иранските учени обявиха, че той е бил още по-нисък – 7,5.
Земетресението станало в 10.44 часа по Гринуич, на дълбочина около 120 км. Трусове били усетени в региона на Залива и в индийската столица Делхи, пише БТА.
Очакват се стотици жертви след силното земетресение, предаде Ройтерс, като се позова на правителствен представител. "Това беше най-силното земетресение в Иран от 40 години насам и очакваме стотици загинали", заяви представителят, пожелал анонимност.
Иранската държавна телевизия междувременно съобщи, че загиналите при труса са най-малко 40. Медията обаче не даде подробности за мащаба на разрушенията в слабо населените райони.
Енергийните и комуникационни системи са се сринали в югоизточната провинция Систан и Балуджистан след земетресението, предаде Ройтерс, като се позова също на държавната телевизия.
Епицентърът на труса е регистриран на 201 км югоизточно от иранския град Захедан и на 250 км северозападно от Турбат в Пакистан.
Високите сгради в индийската столица Делхи са се разтърсили, а хората са се разбягали на улицата, съобщиха свидетели. Хора са се евакуирали и от сгради в Катар и в Дубай.
Миналата седмица земетресение с магнитуд 6,3 разлюля район в близост до единствената АЕЦ в Иран. Загинаха 37 души, а около 850 души бяха ранени. Атомната електроцентрала в Бушер не пострада.

- Eastern Iran was struck by a huge earthquake estimated at around force eight on the Richter scale, the US Geological Survey reported on Tuesday.
The quake was detected at 3:44 p.m. local time in the Iran-Pakistan border area. The epicenter was around 90 kilometers (55 miles) below the earth's surface. Shockwaves were felt in neighboring countries and in India's capital New Delhi.

Bushehr Nuclear Plant Unaffected by Iran Earthquake...

- Iran’s first nuclear power plant in Bushehr was not affected by the devastating earthquake that hit the country on Tuesday, Russia’s Federal Atomic Agency Rosatom said.
“It’s business as usual at the station,” a Rosatom representative told RIA Novosti. “The station did not even feel any tremors as a result of the earthquake.”
At least 40 people were killed when a huge earthquake struck southeastern Iran on Tuesday, Press TV reported. The earthquake, with an estimated force of 7.5 on the Richter scale, hit the provinces of Sistan and Baluchistan near the border with Pakistan at 03:44 p.m. local time.
The Bushehr NPP is located about 160 kilometers away from the quake-stricken areas.
The Iranian Seismological Center (IRSC) said the epicenter of the quake, which occurred at a depth of 18 kilometers (11 miles), was 95 kilometers (57 miles) north of the city of Saravan, the IRNA news agency said.
Shockwaves were felt in neighboring countries and as far away as India's capital New Delhi. The earthquake was also felt in the Persian Gulf's littoral states of Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
According to Press TV, at least nine people have been killed and 100 others injured in Pakistan's Baluchistan province, which borders Iran.
Officials and local sources told Press TV that several houses were destroyed by the earthquake in the Panjgur District near the Iranian border on Tuesday, killing five people, including two women.
Relief teams have been dispatched to the area, Mahmoud Mozafar, head of Relief and Rescue Operations at Iran’s Red Crescent Society, told IRNA on Tuesday.
Earthquakes are a common occurrence in Iran due to the convergence of four major tectonic plates in the region, according to the US Geological Survey.

35 killed, 180 injured as 7.9 magnitude earthquake hits Pakistan....

-- At least 35 people were killed, over 180 others injured and hundreds of houses collapsed when a strong earthquake of 7.9 magnitude jolted parts of southern and southwest Pakistan on Tuesday, local officials said.
Arif Mahmood, Director General of Pakistan Meteorological Office, said the earthquake hit Pakistan at local time 15:44:21 p. m. and lasted for about 20 to 25 seconds.
He said that the epicenter of the earthquake was located at a depth of 76 km in Iran's mountainous area of Khash near Pakistan border.
Mashkel village, located in Pakistan's southwest Balochistan province, was badly affected by the earthquake, as at least 34 people were killed and over 150 others injured due to strong tremors.
The injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital where several of them were reportedly in critical conditions.
Local media said that over 1,000 houses of the village and its adjacent areas which are home to over 35,000 people, were collapsed in the earthquake.
Army sources said that the earthquake razed hundreds of houses to ground and several people are feared to be buried under the rubbles.

6,2 Ρίχτερ στο Ιράν.....
ReplyDeleteΙσχυρή σεισμική δόνηση, μεγέθους 6,2 βαθμών της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ, αναστάτωσε νωρίς το πρωί το νότιο Ιράν, όπως ανακοίνωσε το Αμερικανικό Γεωφυσικό Κέντρο.
Το επίκεντρο του σεισμού, που είχε εστιακό βάθος 36,44 χλμ., εντοπίζεται σε απόσταση 85 χλμ. νοτιοανατολικά της πόλης Μινάμπ, τονίζει σε ανακοίνωσή του το Αμερικανικό Κέντρο.
Μέχρι στιγμής δεν υπάρχουν ανακοινώσεις για θύματα, ή ζημιές, όμως το Κέντρο εκτιμά πως υπάρχουν πιθανότητες 35% να υπάρξουν νεκροί.
Εκτεινόμενο σε μια σημαντικά ενεργή σεισμική ζώνη, που δίνει συχνά ισχυρές δονήσεις, το Ιράν βίωσε τον προηγούμενο μήνα ένα καταστροφικό πλήγμα του Εγκέλαδου, μεγέθους 7,8 Ρίχτερ, που άφησε πίσω του έναν νεκρό στη χώρα, και άλλους 40 στο γειτονικό Πακιστάν. Επρόκειτο για την ισχυρότερη σε μέγεθος δόνηση που είχε καταγραφεί στη χώρα από το 1957.

Magnitude 6.3 earthquake strikes Oman

A 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck in the Gulf nation of Oman on Saturday near the northern city of Al Khasab, the US Geological Survey said.
The quake had a depth of 21 miles (33 km) and was centered 116 miles (186 km) east of al Khasab, the agency said.

Iran says nuclear reactor damaged by quake....Tehran had claimed Bushehr facility was untouched by trembler, but diplomats say information indicates large cracks seen in structure.....
ReplyDeleteDiplomats say countries monitoring Iran’s nuclear program have picked up information that the country’s only power-producing nuclear reactor was damaged by one or more recent earthquakes.
Two diplomats say long cracks have appeared in at least one section of the structure.
They demanded anonymity Tuesday, because they are not authorized to divulge confidential information.
Officials in Tehran assured the international community — after the quakes struck in April and early May — that the facility at Bushehr, south of Tehran, was undamaged.
The diplomats referred to recent restricted information gathered from the site in questioning that assertion. Ρήγμα σε ιρανικό πυρηνικό εργοστάσιο καταγγέλλουν διπλωμάτες...Η καταγγελία έγινε στο Associated Press....
DeleteΓια την ύπαρξη ρήγματος σε τουλάχιστον ένα τμήμα του μοναδικού πυρηνικού αντιδραστήρα του Ιράν στην πόλη Μπουσέιρ έκαναν λόγο διπλωμάτες που επιτηρούν το πυρηνικό πρόγραμμα του Ιράν και μίλησαν στο Associated Press.
Τα ρήγματα φαίνεται να έχουν προκληθεί σε ένα τσιμεντένιο τμήμα της εγκατάστασης από τους σεισμούς που έπληξαν τη χώρα τον Απρίλιο και τον Μάιο.
Η Τεχεράνη δεν διέψευσε ούτε και επιβεβαίωσε την πληροφορία με τον επικεφαλής της αντιπροσωπείας της στη Διεθνή
Επιτροπή Ατομικής Ενέργειας να λέει στο AP πως «δεν γνωρίζω τίποτα για το Μπουσέιρ».
Το Ιράν υποστηρίζει ότι ο συγκεκριμένος σταθμός μπορεί να αντέξει σεισμούς μεγέθους έως και 8 βαθμών της κλίμακας Ρίχτερ.

Report: Iran says nuclear plants safe after earthquake ....
DeleteIran declared a state of emergency after a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit a scarcely populated area, killing around 40 people, according to a report by CNN on Monday.
The quake was so strong it was felt throughout the region. Iran, in the report, stated that it could handle the disaster by itself and that its nuclear plants were safe and can withstand up to an 8.2 magnitude earthquake.
